After more than two decades at the helm of Deeds Publishing, Bob Babcock will be stepping back from day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, Deeds has published over 500 books, from novels to memoirs to children’s books and photography books. We have also designed and produced special projects for large organizations such as the US Army, USA Cycling and the International Cycling Union (UCI), and countless small to medium businesses across the country.
As a young man of 82, he will be taking this well-earned time to focus on his family and his own writing. While he won’t be involved in the nuts and bolts of the business, he will always be just an email or phone call away. Also, he will continue to edit and consult on military books.
To fill his shoes, Jan Babcock will step into a full-time administrative/author relations role, Mark Babcock will continue to lead design and production, and Matt King will continue in his role of digital media specialist, handling e-books, author websites, and the like.
Going forward, Jan will become your go-to for most questions. She will lead authors through the process, making positive handoffs to the correct person at each step. In this new iteration of Deeds Publishing, we renew our commitment to excellence in book design and production, open and prompt communication, and championing the independent author.
